The Al-pi operator trusts in W-onesys’ solutions

The telecom operator Al-pi has trusted in W-onesys’ solution for the optical transport of services at 10 Gbps that connect the Advanced Broadband Communications Center to a Carrier House center. The Optria platform equipped with the appropriate electronics is the system selected to carry out the point-to-point link by optical fiber.

This point-to-point link is part of the GLIF (Global Lambda Integrated Facility) network, which is created for individual participants who make their optical links available for shared use among all the members of the organization. The Catalan part of the link of the GLIF community is the CatLight optical network operated by i2CAT. This connectivity, provided by the Al-pi operators and Interoute, is based on a transparent optical carrier at 10 Gbps between Barcelona and Amsterdam (NetherLight).
